IN HIGH SCHOOL
An all-state and all-city talent who averaged 29 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists per game through his sophomore and senior career at Chicago Whitney Young High! Was a key factor in Whitney Young winning the Class AA state title as a freshman along side Quentin Richardson of the New York Knicks! … Team also finished second in the Chicago Public League his junior season was ranked by most recruiting services among the nation’s top-10 seniors in the nation! Served as a surrogate assistant coach for his senior season, helping his teammates along. Was a Magic Round ball All-American and was a regular feature on the television show “Preps” by Fox Sports, which detailed the lives of several Windy City basketball standouts.
